The Christian wedding is solemnized in a church, nowadays in beach and other venues also wedding is solemnized by the Parish Priest who accepts the marriage vows of both the bride and groom. The Priest asks the bride and groom a question- "Do you take - as your lawful wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?" In reply the bride and groom say, I do, "I take this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit." Then the holy union is tied by law and a promise offered to God.
